Reference to Janet Taylor
My Dear Friend,
'I feel exceedingly obliged by your last communication, mainly the ephemeris of the new planets, and the extracts respecting the comets. I thought we should have heard from you again before this, but now that the month of July is come, we wish to know when you can come to see us, if you can fix the day, and the time you will leave London, I will attend at the station to meet you here. I sent you a Liverpool Mercury the other day, with a letter of Taylor’s in about the comet that is expected we all join in kind love to Mrs R and self, and in anticipation of seeing you soon when we can talk over old times. I remain ever your old friend M Holden.'
